#99: Faith Series #13 - 2 Exercises To Boost Your Self-Confidence

When I was 5 years old, my mom asked me how I was so confident and happy being me all the time, to which I quickly replied, "Because Jesus made me!" Oh how I wish we could all remember that simple truth always!

Your self-worth has nothing to do with what size clothes you wear, how often you exercise, what foods you eat, or what others think of you! Our self-confidence comes from God - knowing that we are His and He loves us and made us just how He wants us. He is perfect and certainly made no mistakes when creating us!

Just like we exercise our physical muscles to get stronger, we also need to exercise our self-confidence muscle for it to grow!

Try these 2 exercises to strengthen your self-confidence:

1) Pray every day and ask God to let you see yourself how He sees you.

2) Set and keep tiny promises to yourself.

You can develop self-confidence just like a muscle and it will grow stronger and stronger as you take these steps every day! Trust in God. Pray to Him. Take baby steps to keep promises to yourself. Develop your God-given talents and double them just like in the parable of the talents in Matthew 25 in the Bible. You're amazing and you can do anything with God.
