One thing we need to do before we start planning for the new year, is to create a NOT-to-do list. The reason why we need to do this is because next year we want to do MORE of what moves the needle forward and LESS of what takes up our time but doesn't move us towards the life we want to live.
1. Download the Not-To-Do List
The first thing you want to do is Download Your Not-To-Do List HERE and grab a pen!
2. List Your Tasks
Now that you have the worksheet, you're going to write down all the tasks & actions that you spend your time on that do NOT move you towards the life you want. This list can include different tasks you do in your business, tasks that you do at home etc.
EXAMPLE: For me some of those include: cooking, grocery shopping, babysitting etc.
3. Decide What To Do With That Task
After you write your list you'll look at each task and then circle one of the following. Do you want to automate that task? Delegate? or eliminate it?
EXAMPLE: So I HATE cooking. So I hired a neighbor of mine to cook for me and my family 3 times a week! And when she's cooking my dinner at her house, I'm working on my business, playing with my kids etc.
4. Decide What To Do First
After you've decided what you want to do with each task then it's time to look at what are some easy action you can take now to changing your life now!
EXAMPLE: One of the first things I eliminated was to say "No" when people asked me to babysit their kids! Hallelujah! Now something that took me a little longer was to find a neighbor who loves to cook.
